”Liburna”- association for breeding and conservation of donkeys as well as preservation of natural cultural heritage is an independent, nonparty, social interest organization gathered by donkey owners and breeders, eminent selection and breeding experts joined with other members of society.

Association’s activity foundation lies in conservation of our origin donkey breeds by planned joining and collaboration of donkey breeders in adoption of breeding aim combined with involvement in implementation of breeding programme. With its effort, Association contributes and is involved in preservation of  overall biodiversity in Croatia, traditional customs and is developing awareness on necessity of sustainable development.
