For children and youth


...spending time with animals present enormous pleasure for them, and they also get valuable lessons of natural life...

We want younger children to get real life values so they can feel and experience that true value of the world is in it's divesity. It is important at that age that they emotionally bond with nature, and trough education they will be in direct contact with natural environment. Multiple tasks are achieved during their visits:

  • fullfilmnent of basic needs for fresh air, games and movement
  • they create bonds with animals, theie curoisity is stimulated and they learn to feel safe and confident with animals.
  • children are stimulated to experience, respect and preserve natural heritage through love to area they live in
  • curiousity towards animals is satisfied, by means of numerous sources of informations (workshops, close contacts, leaflets, video and computer presentations.)
  • awarenes of spiritual and moral values is ancouraged
  • children's ecological awareness rise

To older children we want to develop positive bond with nature by strenghtening awareness of natural values of area they live in. It is also impotant to stress endangerment of nature and to understand this problem and realise that all those problems are not far from us, and someone elses fault - protection of nature is individual responsibility. To school children it can be excellent addition to nature, biology, society, chemistry, geography and history classes.

To tourists...

...who want to directly see, experience and live part of authentic world of Istria in close vincinity of their touristic destinations; they can get to know indigenous domestic animals of this area in their natural environment...
